Uglúk

Uglúk is the leader of the Uruk-hai from Orthanc, sent by Saruman to capture the Halflings, whom he believes carry the Ring.  Capturing only Merry and Pippin, the Uruk-hai carry them a great distance across the Rohan plains before falling to in-fighting.  Ugluk's leadership is challenged by the Mordor orc, Grischnach, and the two nearly come to blows before being surprised by the Rohan guard.   In the midst of the battle, Uglúk is killed by Eomer.
